I believe every voice already has something worth hearing — most singers just need the right tools and a safe place to use them. My job is to listen closely to what your voice is actually doing, then build exercises around you: your range, your habits, your goals.
That means no one-size-fits-all warmups. Whether you're releasing years of throat tension, extending your range, retraining a habit that's holding you back, or stepping to a microphone for the very first time, we start where you are and move forward from there.
I work with kids, teens, and adults — hobbyists singing for the joy of it, worship leaders, students preparing for auditions, and working artists and songwriters. I also direct a children's choir, which has put on two full performances to date.
Most of all, I want lessons to feel encouraging. Singing is vulnerable. Students who arrive nervous or self-conscious tend to leave surprised at what they're capable of — and that's the part I love most.
